Is it safe to travel alone in Bangkok/Pattaya? I am planning a trip to thailand in September.?

If you use common sense your have no problems. Watch out for people who get to friendly to fast. If with a bar girl have fun but still be careful and don't fall in love. Stay away from drugs and if some Thai piss you off just smile and walk away.
I know this boy. When he was in around 6th or 7th grade, he went to thailand with his parents. his parents left him alone in their hotel for 2 days & 2 nights. Do whatever you would like to do! Have fun & Always follow your dreams!
Never had any problems in 5years travelling all over Thailand. But be aware and sensible. You'll probably meet people there so you wont always be alone.
I've been there a number of times- just keep your wits about you and be aware fo your surroundings. You should be okay.
Everywhere is safe as long you stay with the areas that tourist should go
