trips thurs Thailand Talay waek

Talay waek, or the divided sea, refers to a phenomenon when the low tide is separated into two directions in the middle of the Andaman sea, revealing a long white sand dune that becomes a passage connecting together the three islands, namely Koh Tab, Kho Kai and Kho Mo, hence the name Talay Waek.

From Krabi, drive along Highway 4034, then turn left and continue on Highway No.4202 heading to Ao Nang. Long-tail boats and speed boats run daily from Ao Nang Bay to the sand dune.
